A blue swan.

Start early today, find that the paths are slippery down by the river because of the cold. They are covered in frozen snow. Walk carefully, and enjoy the new ear phones. They silence the noises from the motorway and it is possible to play music softly.

Resolve to take the long walk down to the reactor, and because it is earlier, decide to walk down one bridge further. This bridge is at a town called Niederviehbach.

Today is a grey day, foggy and cold. The swans on the lakes are doing a great deal of flying, much more than usual. Perhaps they are thinking of migration. There are plenty of cormorants too, they have a strangely symmetrical pointed shape when in flight. It looks a bit as if the body had been made on a lathe.

It is dark in Landshut at the end of the walk.

Going over the footpath look down into the water. There is a swan there, swimming against the current.

Because of the effect lighting in the power plant it looks blue:

A blue swan.
