| The ruined roadside inn near Moosburg |
The man on the telephone, the man from the insurance, informed that the cost of extending the cover so that the son would be included would double the premium. Oh well, that is the way it goes. I did not even ask how much a separate policy would cost, it is bound to be even more. A call to the motor club confirmed that this was in order.
So much trouble for simple things, an enormous time had to be spent on the telephone to obtain this information. On the coming Wednesday, when the results of his test are known, it will be necessary to make another call.
It is cold today, a short walk to the café at the city walls and a long wait there for service. The people at work there are strangely incompetent, stepping on each other's toes, chatting to each other, ignoring their waiting customers, having arguments. The story is that there is no trained help available.
It would be good to splash out and train some help.
The rolls on sale in the early afternoon are stale already.
Return home, and realise that the cold is eating its way into the bones, and that nothing productive will be achieved whilst feeling so bad.
