 The morning was late and the day is hot. Take a shower, there is only one shower in the house. The technicians failed to install a shower in the upper floor. This is too bad.

Make just a large cup of coffee for breakfast and check up upon all of the things on the comptuter. The news is bad, Iran and Israel, Russia and Ukrraine, both made assumptions as to what the Americans would do, and they went and voted for Trump. They are autocrats and dictators all, each in their way.

Coffee and bread and cheese, an apple too, that makes up the food for the morning.

At the gallery have a cup of coffee in the Italian place next door. The usual crowd are there, at least they are working sensibly on the world's problems today. There are fewer radical comments today.

Now it is four in the afternoon, it is cool in the old shop betwteen the thick walls of the old building Write these notes and hear the wife filling the bucket from the well for the plants in the tiny back yard.

It will be time to do the taxes this evening. And later it may be necessary to go to the pub.
