Got up late and took a longer walk. There was nothing for breakfast in the larder, so a walk seemed in order. It was pleasant and hot in the park.
During the walk, decided to try and buy the big combo tripod in Stuttgart. The price was reasonable, it was worth getting. It will greatly simplify the photographic work in the studio.
Have a roll and a cup of coffee in the café on the edge of town. There are problems there with their card terminal. Just pay old school, using cash.
Walk along the river to the shops, and buy some butter and apples. Also buy some tomatoes and some cat food.
Go home and send an inquiry for the tripod.
The answer to the inquiry arrives later in the day. A date is speedily worked out, there will be a journey to Stuttgart on Saturday, a round trip of around six hours.
The wife announces that she will be away as of the twelfth of June. Talk about all kinds of things. But not the son, just taxes.
It is a strange relationship.
