walk by the river

It is just about two in the afternoon, the weather is good, and there are red roses on the table in Burghausen. It is now a month since the parents of the friend died, and it will take a long time for her to get over the shock. She made breakfast today, a continental form of a full Irish breakfast.  It was almost midday.

Fall asleep on an armchair, the same kind of exhausted shuttering of all functions experienced in the last months. Fall asleep for an hour, then go upstairs and lie on the bed. After a short nap there get up and go downstairs. The friend is in her room with her dog, she is reading.

Go downstairs to the big room, and start to write these notes. See that the light on one of the sculptures outside is good, take the camera and take a picture of it before the light changes.

We will go out now, the friend, and the dog as company, to see the sighs and to take a walk by the river.
