twentysixth morning notes

sleep undone by son at three, ponder, wonder, chamber pots no more!
cleaner, but noisier doors; lights on, go, and flush, lights out.
the radio at five, turn it off, the stupid article, Friday, day for xray doctor.
Sleep on and listen to son prepare for school, fooling about.
at 7:45, get up, get clothes find no trousers, use the old ones.
do de Bialetti, pour the old brew down the plughole, waste!
drink a cup, leave the house, through the wakening towns lanes,
Arrive at practice at eight twenty, card and letter, five minutes late.
