day two, year two week nine

16 sep 2014
Phantom alarm half past four. The sound of an early bird blew in through the window. The birdsong outside has gone with the light.
Shower, wash, dry. Tablet, like all days. Like all workdays..
The street has a new sound, a rumble over the cobblestones and the whirr of an electric motor.
A scooter, or an assisted bicycle with an electric motor. Fast and silent, compared to a two-stroke engine. The leather shop has had a new shipment of leather in, the skins are all over the inside of the shop. The shop window has a pleasant display itself.
Bachmeier and Maricia bakery trucks are in the main street, delivering raw products to their respective bakeries.
alone at the bus stop, watch the river slide past, visible only because of the streaks of light reflected in its surface from the street lamp's glow. It is sinister in its silence, there is no bird song. It is warm, but uninviting.
The bus ride, over almost before it has really begun, the station in the dark with the coaches pulling in and out of their parking- spots, huge, and looming. There position may be identified by the reflection of wayside lamps in their shiny exteriors, and by the occlusion of the light from the windows of the railway stations brightly lit interior by their mass. A data net built up out of assumptions and hnowl ledge at what is before one. What a painter would describe would be different from what a photographic camera would show.
The cafe girls have a chirpy friendliness offensive. Today.
        The coffee is good.
The Hedgehog and the black-haired girl with the handbag are at their table.
Talking.
Train overcrowded, the holidays are over for many: School starts today. The young man goes to secondary school today. He is ten years old, and needs to make decisions affecting the rest of his life.

NOW!!! SOFORT!
EFFIZIENZ! ELITEN.
ELITEN MACHEN!
AUSLÄNDER ZAHLEN MÜSSEN!
the ugliness of the blackness and shortsighted bleakness of bavarian politics
