memory notes for tuesday,written on wednesday

3rd November 2015 / From Memory.
Awaken to snares and snores from the next bed, the man withno legs is overweight, has treat wing (rotten) wrong DATE b
That is the morning of the fourth, on the third it was the man will
the chip out of his ear and the one with the hole in his face.
Both nice old gents, one with a basalioma and one with a
melanoma. One Yesterday
        Both scaredBoth due to be operated on. He has his head
wrapped in bandages, a turban  on his head, and a lengthy of bandages around his chin, like a helmet. His ear has been clipped, a wedge taken out. The other will gofor his operation today.
     
 Cheery nurse, breakfast. Offfer to butter the bread, refuse, it is after all the left hand that was hurt by the falling glass.
Two slices of tread and a roll, some butter, ham and jam.
A Hospital breakfast, nourishment for a day doing nothing, other than chatting to doctors and fellow patients, fella patients in their states of personal shock.
        The morning dribbles past, doctor's visitations,  inspect, and measure. The ear man goes, and the legless man comes. The ticking anaesthetic dosing machine drowns all awareness.
