let them eat cake, she said, just like Marie Antoinette.

23 June 2-016
after the alarm check the computer for more mail. Nothing is as exciting as bad news. Shower, dress.
Leave the jacket on the hook, it is going to be a warm day.
Leave the house, and the street behind.
There are pigeo ns on the pavement, trying for early pickings.
Punz Pick.
The one stops to watch the human in the white shirt pass by. A careful pigeon.
Take a picture of the river at the bus stop.
The river with the Mill Island in the middle of it.
Dolores inquires us to whether the money had been left at home yesterday, and whether that had been rhe reason for the sudden turnabout. . It had, yesterday.
A friendly offer, and thanks.
A friendly old soul.

Take a picture of the bus, as it arrives.
The day is warm already, it will become really hot today.

Later, stand on the platform holding a plastic-lidded paper cup .
The coffee is hot, and the sun is already glaring out of the sky.

Watch  the delayed train move into the station, and see it pass on down to the end of the platform. The first half of the train is late
so the second half is later. It is much later than it should be.

But eventually the train moves into the station, and joins with the first half.
And on board, listen to the apologetic announcement on the train's public actress system.

Passing thorough a landscape with the glaring sun behind,
heading for a three quarter ful pale moon.

The moon in a clear blue sky does not care at all about a train that is six minutes late.

of feeding eighty people
