care

It is not to be done. Awaken, way to early, wait for the alarm clock, silence it's insistent stupid beep.
Get up.
Tinnitus, headache, and toothache.
Why bother?
Get up and shower.

No, this will not do.
Today is a day to call in sick, after the forced track working all the time last week.
Let the doctor look, that will need to be.

Make coffee, then that drowsiness creeps up again.

The cat is active, running around, begging for food.
It jumps onto the window sill to look out at the passing traffic.
A street sweeping machine.
As the tiny orange vehicle comes closer the hissing noise of it's brushes and suction mechanisms get louder.

The cat does not like that.
The cat flees the window ledge.
Seems to panic, seemingly the orange thing is too close.

The sound of the sons alarm
It is turning seven in the morning
He has to get up to go to school.

Outside, there is the sound of the street cleaning machine
cleaning the opposite gutter.
No, it is not to be done.
Stay awake.
Look forward
