marmelade coloured cat

10TH of October 2017
take a shower, take the yellow pill, put the cream on the nose. A white shirt today, with black socks.
Just after leaving the alley, past the building sites notice that the mobile 'phone has been left at home, on the charger. Return, go up the stairs, pick up the 'phone, and leave the house. Descend to the street in the dark, because the timer light has switched it off.
The five minute timer that the electrician had insisted on installing. All hallways have timed lighting, to save electricity.
Hurry through the town, later than usual now. The bus is already at the bus stop, so run now.
The hurry was in vain, the driver is placidly reading his newspaper, waiting for the correct time tr leave the stop. Give the man his money, get the ticket.
sit at the back of the bas, and wait. Punctually, the driver leaves his stop.

At the railway station, there is a large tabby cat, marmalade coloured, or is it the light. It is a cat with a collar, seems
To be unsure of itself, maybe these are strange surroundings.
Say good morning to the smoker with the pigtail, the pigtail turning inr a pony tail of late.

-and a very loud young woman on for the order and duly stamps the discount card.
She puts the small rubber stamp on the counter, it rolls along, and falls off the edge into the display of rolls. It leaves a small inky mark the rolls, before it is recovered by the next serving person.
Take the cup to the waiting room, the usual table has spilt coffee all over it, so go to a different table, away from the wall, nearer the glass doors of the entrance.

There is a man in cyclist gear, a neon yellow knitted hat on his head. He is moving about uncertainly, maybe nervous. There is a sudden smell of perfume, a woman goes past, over to the man in the hat, they exchange greetings, embrace.

So sit there and continue to write.

Until they have gone, and the smell of the perfume has dissipated as well.
The train is in on tme, stand back to let these out who have reached their destinations.

Find a seat, and wait for the train to start on its ten minute journey through the pitch black night.
