driver blows his horn again

leave the house, walk down the street, all the cobbles glistening. There is a warning  beacon at the end of the street, an orange flashing light. A cyclist passed, his bicycle  wobbling as he passes, he looked over and the bicycle wobbled.
When closer to the light, the beacon, see that it is marking a road sign which has been knocked over, the metal pole all bent, the pavement torn up. This must have happened in the night. Walk on, around the church and, at the corner of Grimms store a further signpost has been knocked  over. This one has not been marked by a beacon. This is strange, two signposts perhaps people were on a drunken rampage and thought that it was a good idea to knock  down signposts

At the bus stop, both Dolores and the Bog cotton man are in the bus shelter. Wish them both a good morning. Stand and wait, look out over the river. The river is still calm, there is no flooding even though the flood is well on its way, it is actually reasonably warm  today.

In the distance, see the bus approaching. It is moving slowly, it is early.

A car pulls in, flashing its high beam light on and off. It is a small car, a woman with a head scarf is driving. She leans over to open the passenger door, indicates that Dolores should come over. Dolores hurries over, then the bus is there, blows it's horn. The driver is all impatient now, and Dolores gets into a panic. She waves the car on, but the car does not move, the door stays open. The driver blows his horn again, increasing Dolores' panic,  and the cars driver commences shouting and cursing in a loud voice. Dolores rushes over and boards the car after all, climbing in through the low door. The bus driver moves his bus forward, untill practically no distance separates the big vehicle from the little car. Dolores closes the passenger door, and the bus lurches forward, barely stopping in time to avoid ramming the car. The driver blows his horn again, and the small car moves off, joining the traffic on the main road.
then board the bus and pay the driver.lt the same man as yesterday, The man with the hair cropped short around his temples.

The bus is almost crowded today. The blond girl with the Rastafarian locks is there, the dark skinned young woman, the man with the filthy clothing and the woman at the back of the bus putting on her makeup.
The one and a half hour journey to work has just begun.
