it is just not true

Tuesday, May 18, 2018
The morning is brighter still today. Today, the beginning of the second week in May. Take the usual walk down to the bus stop, see the usual people there. A single very large bird flies past overhead, it might be a cormorant. It is flying high.
Christus church, over on the other side of the river, is being illuminated by the early dawn. It's brick structure seems to glow bright in contrast to all the dark green trees standing about.. it is all very pleasant looking. At twenty five to six the traffic on the main road starts to pick up, Perhaps the shift at some local factories starts at six. They are all, almost without exception, large shiny cars passing by, all with just the driver in his front seat...
The smoker is at his usual space in front of the railway station, chatting to his friends today. Wish him his good morning .
The service girl refuses to stamp the discount card, saying that she has done it already. This is annoying, it is just not true. But swallow the annoyance, it is a financial matter of only ten cents, not worth getting upset about. Far worse is the smell of the garlic salami from the rolls under the counter. The smell of garlic and cured meat reminds of sweat and tight spaces, it is just unpleasant.. And by the time this is over, beginning to the days jottings having hem made.
The sun has risen over the railway tracks coming into Landshut from Dingolfing, illuminating the incoming Munich-bound train from behind. The computer specialist with the poneytail hair is waiting there on the platform, and watch him board the carriage as soon as it has stopped, after letting those who have arrived disembark.
The landscape is lush and green today, interspersed with the corrugated brown of fields freshly ploughed and planted.
The sun will have climbed higher by the time the train stops at Freising
