long lens

The path up the hill is steep, steeper today, the breath is short due to a lack of exercise recently. The long Novoflex lens is slung over the shoulder, today it will be tried out for the last time.
It will most likely be a failure. The lens type never achieved great popularity, it looks like some kind of a weapon. Only to be pointed at birds and animals, not people. A lens with a shoulder stock and a pistol grip, that is silly.

The woods are lovely now, all deep green, there is a light rain.

Recieve strange glances, because of the thing with the shoulder stock.

The aim is to take pictures of crows, to see if it is possible to make an acceptably sharp picture at all.

The birds are all strutting about, they are not interested in flying today.

Wait, take a picture, it does not work at all well.

Perhaps leaving wildlife photography to wildlife photographers would be a good idea.
Along the fence there is a woman feeding a pigeon, the bird is eating from her hand.
Point the camera a the bird, now it is a closeup of the hand and the bird.
Take that as a picture,

And then try for the crows again.

Without success.
Take the lens back down through the park again.
Go home.
