gone dead at much the same time

The morning went badly, it was not possible to get out of bed at the time that hd been planned for. That was six and it just did not work. It was not possible to become functional until eight.

Do chores, and then go out and shop for things, things like washing powder and rolls of kitchen paper.

In the early afternoon take out the car and drive down to the social services place at the local university. There is a sculpture in front of it, and the artists would like a photo. Realise that the light is wrong, and then discover that the compass on the smart phone believes that the sun is in the North. That is rubbish, and after a while the stupid device changes its mind.

It will be necessary to come back tomorrow.

Then take the car to the social welfare place belonging to the Rathaus in Kumhausen. There is a large and very impressive ceramic sculpture on the wall there, that is to be photographed too.

Try to use the shift on the camera, but that will not work properly in combination with the old wide angle lens.

Go home disgruntled.

In the evening, meet one of the artists, and take a walk up through the park with her. That is good exercise and it is pleasant company.

Much later, realise that the phone is still in the car.

And that all the batteries on the location devices appear to have gone dead at much the same time.
