good that he is getting on with his life

After breakfast, the first short walk through the park, the first walk in a long time. Everything is damp from the rain, and the colours of the leaves are brilliant, every shade there from brown to green, yellows and reds to be mentioned too. Walk up to the castle, look at the splendid sky that is indicating a change of weather. See clouds in the distance that are depositing rain on the distant landscape underneath them. They look like misshapen jellyfish, the rain being the tendrils.

At the café it is too late to get a nice seat inside, so stay outside and enjoy a cup of coffee with a buttered pretzel, the same as used to be the standard years ago on the train journeys to work.

The day is spent doing one thing or another, there is a demonstration in the evening by Palestinians demonstrating for a free Palestine.
Take a few pictures.

In the evening, the son leaves to go to the train to return to his place of studies. It is a sad business to see him go, and it is good that he is getting on with his life.
