Things are not as they should be. This morning, this is to be felt in the bones and the snivels. These things make getting out of bed an unpleasant chore. Downstairs, make breakfast and see that there is a large carton of pizza on the cooker. This is where the wife left it yesterday. The cat has already investigated, removing a slice and eating the meaty bits. That is on the floor now.
The question is whether it is possible to carry on with the day normally, as planned, or simply not to do so. Take the finished breakfast upstairs, and enjoy it whilst reading the news. The American newspapers are all being smart after the case and are dissecting the failure of the minority to win an election. They will be doing that until it is all desiccated and dusty.
The German government has collapsed after its long struggle with yet another neoliberal egomaniac. Such people are simply inhuman and should have their intelligence put to use where it will do nobody harm.
The cat is attentive this morning, as always. It inspects everything, and then it has had enough and wants to go elsewhere.
The body is complaining now, drowsiness is setting in. Lie down and cover up for an hour, until the spasm goes.
This is all not really normal, let us hope it does not stay.
