the rest of the day

Listen to the radio and take it easy this morning.

Taking it easy is sometimes hard, it is hard to step back and asses those things that need to be done next. There is no one there to do them for you, still- the things must at least be organised in the mind before anything is undertaken. Just doing things tends to leave things unfinished.

The wife's leaving for her early shift made a bump in the night, it was somehow a feeling of being out on the street wrapped in a sheet and people wandering by looking. The bumping noise is her slamming of doors as she leaves her bedroom. This is unfortunate, it is a thing she has always done. Nobody is perfect, and she spends time demonstrating that she is somebody.

Dress and have breakfast, the one meal that causes happiness. Do the puzzle, and read the New York Times writing about the unspeakable Trump. The man who delegates everything and acts as if he had done it himself. The rest of the world will see if it does good or if it will end the way dictatorships do.

It is time now to get on with the rest of the day.
