day two, year two week six

August 26, 2014
the sound of raindrops, outside. Bathroom, early morning shower inside. Socks and other clothes, gather the bag and leave the house.
check the waste bins, but they are empty today.
check the pockets, the wallet is not there. go back home, find it on the bedside table.
Take the umbrella. Because of the rain.
Passing the church the crutchman leaves his house. He has two crutches and no umbrella.
The rain is heavy now, glistening in the lamplight.
The bus comes, the station arrives. The man with the hair, the smoker outside the square, is there. It is filthy wet and dark.
The cafe, the coffee. From the counter, a young woman is to be seen clearing away the knives. Each one wiped, then put in its place on a magnetic rail. Each metal dish wiped, and-put into its place. Then a set of plastic spatular, put away under a cover.
A bag of tomatoes, a bag of rolls, and the next charge of rolls with mozarella are in the make.
Very neat clean and concentrated..
The train is late, they are repairing the tracks again. The signals in Passau are not working as they should. Nearly a quarter of an hour's delay.
Due to the green-yellow light of the trains inside illumination the greying dawn clouds outside the carriage are blue in appearance, a blackened miserable blue. The fields are robbed of their colours. This last week in august has many of the properties of late autumn, or even early winter. Other passengers rustle their papers, sleep, one woman is knitting..
Outside, the chemical factory in the blueish light and and it's yellow lanterns-passes by as we enter Moosburg.
Very few board the train here.
An announcement informs the passengers that due to construction work, this train will wait here until thirty seven minutes past six. It is now. twenty eight minutes past six
Nobody is talking, the train waits in the rain.
Outside, a woman runs through the car park. 'She Thinks that she is late, but she will make it easily...
Ticket collector comes by. She rays 'that there will be daily delays for the next four days.
Construction work.
The feeling of a change in air pressure in the ears after the sealing of the doors and the recommencing of the trains travel. It. is almost as if the carriages were pressurised, like aircraft.

But That would be nonsense..
