Dim light through that closed window. It is late, the clock was not set.
Take the car today. Take a double split pill.
find clothes, go shower, brush teeth. Pick up bag.
Shoes on, blue suede with red laces.
Questionable taste.
Go down the stairs, out into a lovely morning.
Church bells ring for six. Saint Martins, Ursulines, St Jodoks. All those churches, one after the next. Walk down the church street, then go past the police and into the street known as the mirror lane.
Maybe mirrormakers followed their trade here once, long long ago.
Start the car, reverse out and drive through the sleeping town. Through the tunnel, and out along the river
Driving a blue car, no train, no people.
Just other cars
