Warm water in a cold bathroom, this is the way that it is going to be for the next six months, or thereabouts.

The teeth get a short brushing, remove the taste of the night. The marks left by the breathing mask are still there, on the right hand cheek. The breathing apparatus is troublesome, but' it has driven away the nightmares of asphyxiation during sleep.

Back in the bedroom, the cat rubs its back against bare legs, purring loudly. It wants to be fed, This is the first time this week for this "hungry cat" performance..

Take that pill, water after, and the day will show whether or not' it is going to help keep the block dog tame. The glasses are not' in their usual place, allow a short panic, find them then in the living room and leave the flat in a hurry now.

The furniture store shows it's upholsterer's wares,

all those chairs and sofas.

The woman with the noisy little car is still reversing about the place, working hard at getting out of her illegal parking space in the church square.

The bus stop is deserted, apart from a very carefully dressed young man, all his clothing looks new..

His hair is styled so that it looks just like a wig, his black boots are polished to a shine.

At the cafe:

Big bawdy Blondy is rushing around the cafe, trying

to serve several people at once, and failing miserably in the act. But she serves coffee eventually, and it is not the worse for it. She says 'seheisse' frequently, an expletive that is not in good taste in such a gastronomic environment, even if it is only a station cafe.

TeamLider is late, and the situation in the cafe gets rapidly worse.. after her arrival it is as if the problem had never existed.

Say 'good mongering' to Hedgehog, and watch the news on the silent television. There are sub-titles with the "headlines...., East Germans demonstrate against the fugitives. Come on, there is enough social welfare for all", is the only viable answer here. The Israeli prime minister tells some irrelevant story from eighty five years ago.

So what.

On the platform meet the big young woman from work. We wish each other a Good morning in the dim yellow tight of the station lamps.

Find and board the dining car, which remains empty until the train arrives in Frei sing. The train fills there, the lovely silence of the nearly-empty carriage is ended.

And so finally and utterly brutally ended when the sqwalky voice of the train attendant warns the passengers that the last two carriages will be locked at the next stop as the train is too long for the platform there.
