waking in the night and sleeping late. Weekend behaviour.
The mask is the same, but the air from the replacement compressor is different. Perfumed. How can that be? That must have been the last user, and that this last owner had something perfumed on the table where the machine was last parked.
There is momentary discomfort at the thought of breathing air perfumed by another person, but-
so what, we do that all the time anyway.
The cat is fondling and purring, requiring attention, wanting food.
Stand up from the bed and go to the lavatory, and do the mornings first business there,
Return, one of those printed pills that the doctor ordered, the day´s dose : "Well Bertie, we shall try them".
A moderate effect, self centredness increases.
The son is building a small electronic circuit, which in conjunction with his computer, makes lights flash.
On and off.
And start to prepare the coffee maker, see that there is no room in the bin for biological waste any more. So take the small bin out and empty it into the larger one.
Then feed the cat, she is getting noisy, empty the tin on to a fresh plate. There is not much left in that tin, but it keeps her happy. Cat like, she shoves her face into the food and commences feeding.
Dismantle the bialetti coffee maker, take out the full sieve, empty that into the biological waste container mentioned above, clean out all the residues left from yesterday`s breakfast, all the brown oily waste clinging to the aluminium walls of the Italian coffee maker, put in fresh ground coffee from the grinder, water in the bottom part, screw the whole lot together and put it on the gas.
Meantime, the cat is hungry again, open up a new tin and feed her anon.
The son and the wife are now discussing the time. The time has been changed to winter time in the night. All the clocks are wrong.
Set the watch. The infamous alarm clock has already set itself, being radio controlled. The two others, that french brillie wall clock, and the old german school clock both need stopping. Just for an hour, then they may start again.
A gift of one hour, on Sunday
