no, it is late again
last night the son decided on an experiment
he wanted to defy sleep, and to stay up all night.

He did, and his parent stayed awake too.
in case of need.

And at six in the morning, the parent took to bed.
At eleven the parent woke
and the son was in bed.

on a grey skied winters saturday.
The experiment is over

The  cat is exploring.
From the ground, jump to the writing bureaus fold out table.
Jump to the top of the bureau.
Then a long jump to the top of the wardrobe.
Nothing there
return to the bureau
and back to the ground, then to the bed.
