Era

The morning routine has run again, the shower, the teeth, the clothing, and the cat with its attention seeking.
The restaurant opposite is being turned into a portuguese restaurant, A wine bar. They have installed new lamps in the corridor. Wonder, a portuguese wine place next to the second hand store.
Slowly move on. There is no joy in this everyday drudge now, the delivery trucks rumbling over the pavements,  trying to get their work done ahead of the mornings traffic.

All routine. Upon the return this evening all the streets will be filled with people, flaneuring, conversing. Now the dawning day is dull and gray, the light crepuscular, people are tired.
Greet dolores at the bus stop. She nods today, she is tired mad colourless now, like-the day is grey.
A cyclist passes, daringly swooping across the main road. She is wearing silvery cloth shoes, and a neat outfit. To early for work in an office, maybe she has to unlock doors or to recieve deliveries, to open doors. Then the neat little teachemam arrives, and looks about, unsure.

Board the bus, pay the driver. He is surly, waves to the ticket machine, a grumpy indication for the estimable passenger to take his ticket himself. Some drivers hand out the ticket, others are keen to do as little as is possible.

PT.-smoker, in front of the station up every day.. It is an unloading day for the bakery in the railway station, the entrance is blocked again with all these pallets and containers, the delivery man sorting his wares and not caring for those who are in a hurry to catch their trains.

Large coffee from the shaven headed max, he knows by now, barely talks.
That is good, this is a depressing day, snap and anger are not far away.
Mr, Hedgehog, chubby with a polished face and a blue boiler suit. good. morning.

The television is showing a documentation on space exploration, and the news ticker at the bottom of the screen reports on the death of a father and his son by suicice in Hamburg.

Then the televisio signal breaks down and when the screen is visible again, the ticker is displaying information on depressions.

Merkel is planning, and threatening. Trump is under pressure.

And the train on Platform 6 will not wait.
