Wednesday
The shower warm, wash the head the ams all the things that need washing. Fresh. Awake.
Not really, it is way too early. But that was the idea.
The fresh clothing out of the wardrobe, and so be ready for the day. The cat arrives, fawning, holding it's head out to be scratched. She is a strange cat.
The streets are empty but for lines of yeller plastic bags in front of all the doorways, they contain the packaging waste from the previous two weeks.
There is a group of pigeons picking something in the middle of the street. They all fly up, and then land again, thirty metres farther on, and commence meting again. Dolores is ahead, slowly making her. way to the bus shelter. She says good morning, and sits down. A car slop at the pavement edge, the driver waves, and dolores limps over to the car. Her hair is going white at the top.
The bas arrives, pay the fare and take a seat.
There is news on the telephone today, it is hard to see what is happening in the world. It is also hard to understand. The question is really one of motives, ie even though anyone can become a president not everyone can do the work involved..
The pigtailed man is smoking at his place in front of the station, deep in conversation. with a tall man with sparse white hair. It seems to be an earnest discussion.
The (now) small cafe is busy as ever. Coffee is served by the bald-shaven man, he has a beard now. There is a group of workmen conversing in some Slavic lmywage. They are all mandatory dressed in Those fashionable working outfits, made by Englehart Strauss. These sport a profusion of zips, the immediate purpose of which is unclear. The zips run up the back of the legs, vertically. Zipfasteners and safety pins, that used to he punk fashion in the eighties at the last century.
Mr Hedgehog, who has been in his corner reading a newspaper, leaves. He says goodbye.
