awaken, press the button on the glowing screen. Stop the strumming sound, pick up the tablet and go to the hallway. Go on through the glazed door and into the bathroom. Another glazed door.
Turn on the shower, wait for it to warm, wash the hair the back the feet, all the body parts. Leave, use the towel from the hook to dry, and put the watch back on.
Return to the bedroom, take care with the sliding door so that it does not jam, take the underwear out of the wardrobe's Swedish drawers.
And so dressed for the day, pick up the broken Hasselblad in the cardboard box, hang the shoulder bag over the shoulder, and down the stairs.
Because of the broken instrument, take the car to work today. Then it can be brought to repairs afterwards, a half hour drive with the car.
Down in the hallway see that the blue bin full of paper has not been put out. Put the camera down, and drag it out to the street, with all the others there. Then return for the bag and the box.
Go to the car, parked opposite the police station. A blue Mercedes, twenty years old now, still a nice car.
Start the engine, look back out of the window, and see that the cover of the storage area behind the seats is up. So stop the engine, get out, put the cover down, get back in and the engine will not start any more. The battery does not have enough power.
Back to the house, and find the emergency battery. Back to the car, hook the contrivance up.
The emergency battery does not have enough power either.
Back to the house, hook the battery up to the power supply to recharge it.
And go on up and make a cup of coffee.
The day is starting as a string of mishaps.
Rage and anger.
Nobody is really to blame.
Get the computer, start these notes.
Leave the nights dozing,
awaken,
