Blue bins in the alley today, in front of every house.

They contain paper refuse, all to be used for recycling

The door closes loudly, not quite a slam, but

noisy.

And there is only lamplight under a black

sky, there must be high cloud up there some ik

Today. On the main street there is a distant

glare from the headlamp of a bicycle. It is so

bright that the bicycle behind it is invisible.

Maybe it is one of those electrically assisted

bicycles, they go faster, they need better illumina­tion..

Dolores greets, a loud "good morning". Return

her greeting, then the other two men arrive.

Then the bus, pay the driver his money,

and take a seat in the rear patt of the

vehicle.

Then the smoker at the station, at the

A long line in the early morning cafe,

there is only one person on service.

Descending the stairs to the tunnel, see that
