Full lunar eclipse

Monday, January zlst 2019
Leave the house into the cold of the early
morning. There, at the corner, take a photograph
of the street, the lantern and an approaching
cyclist. The approaching cyclist was an extra,
but he fitted wto the picture.
Two pictures, one with a cyclist, and one without.
At the bus stop, greet Dolores. There is a
thin sliver of moon, a tiny sliver of
yellow moon, and the remaining circle lit by
earthlight, the light that we reflect on our
satellite.

The moon is over the station, vanishing
behind clouds, smoky. The man with the
light on his rucksack describes it as a
wolf's moon. He is taking the early train to
Munich Airport as well now.
With a whistle, a howl of electric
motors, the short train to the airport
arrives from (Munich)Regensburg. Many leave the vehicle
in Landshut, many board on their way
to Freising. The train is very popular, a
chance planning, it had been meant for
passengers on their way to the airport; it
has turned into an overfilled commuter
transport.
