Neat small man

The granite steps to the platform are just high enough to make climbing them painful. The

knees have to strain to lift the body, one step at a time. Later on in the day, the whole biological mechanism will have warmed up, then it will be possible to take such steps two at a time.

The platform is full of waiting people, waiting for the morning train to Munich Airport.

The service is constantly gaining in popularity. Even with people who do not need to go to the airport. When the train arrives it takes quite some time for the people on board to leave, before the waiting passengers may board.

Find a seat opposite a neat small man in airport security security working clothes. He is wearing a company tie and has a neatly trimmed grey beard. On his identity tag the beard is not grey yet, he must have been doing the job for a long time. He has a shoulder bag with him, occupying the seat next to him. This has a fake camouflage pattern and an inscription saying 'Super DRY". His blue jacket is hanging on a hook by the carriage window.

He looked displeased to have anyone sit down near him, it is as if he felt that

the carriages were reserved for him.
