The cat chews the wires leading from the charging smartphone to the electric mains socket. she likes the taste of the wires. Then she starts to lick the leather of the shoes underneath the writing desk. Then she reaches up, digs her claws into the trouser legs, pricking the legs beneath, to haul herself up onto the human knees. There is time, so spend four minutes stroking the cat, let her roll onto her back. Touch her tummy, and suddenly the claws are out and she bites. She expects humans to know
that she does not allow that liberty. so scratch her under the chin, until she calms down.
The scratch is not bad, the bite neither, it is not bleeding.
