Yesterday, a crash course in Swedish and elderly shop assistants with poor manners. At the end of it all sit down on a pile of Kallax, all ready for sale in their flat boxes. Think of a Dubliner saying that is is all a heap of Kallax. Four times around the display just to buy a bed and a few things. That was yesterday.
The new bed is higher than the other one, and more comfortable because of the wooden springs. The other one was just a wooden box with a mattress on top. It is seven, and time to get up, it is bright even though the sky is a turgid cloud covered grey. The workers in the house next door have already started with their hammering and angle grinding.
Coffee and poached eggs on toast.
Water the plants
shower
clothes
start ironing all the clothing washed on Sunday
And realise that this week is speeding away too, it is now Tuesday. Time is going faster now, if it is all in the mind there must be a way to slow it. A neologistic sort of anti-elapsement.
Nonsense thoughts are more frequent now.
