other things today

It was hard work to make the printer accept paper sized DIN A3, realised that the makers of the print driver s had asked for sizes in centimetres and not the more usual millimetres. So much for that classical misunderstanding, if this had been an order to some firm a massive huge print would have been the result. Then there is the confusion between the German decimal mark and the American point. Aso the matter of the comma, and the American separator for thousands causes confusion. It is all a matter of point and comma, and it is all too bad.

Now it is all sorted, and the prints are presentable, despite the fact that the paper is just really cheap stuff.

At three go to the barber, and she does a good job of removing the distinctly woolly grey hair and leaving a decently trimmed head of hair behind. The hairline is steadily receding.

The cold is making it hard to do the work that had been planned, so do other things today.
