yesterdays failure

yesterdays highlight happened when it was nearly night. A long telephone call with an old friend.

the day was a fury of wandering and wondering and driving.

a device for cutting decorative cardboard frames was bought at the art supply. because the device was new and stiff the carrier for the blade slipped from its rail and cut the finger. It was so sharp that the wound took some time to start bleeding. then it would not stop doing so. Cut the first "mat", the device works. The construction is yet another example of sloppy overpriced construction from the united states. The last one was a stupid electric torch, all styling and overweight. But it works, and what on earth should last for ever anyway?

This post is for the twelfth of April, a day that was lost in headaches and was ended with a pot of herb tea.
