rest for an hour and a half.

up early today, everything was surprisingly organised. Breakfast was made despite there only being one hot plate. The coffee did not cool down so quickly, so that it was possible to make a few  poached eggs. The toast was made in the toaster, where else?

On the way to the railway station stop and talk to the artist who lives on the corner. The chat was easy because there was no hurry. There was so little hurry that there were still twenty minutes to spare before the bus was due to arrive.

Walk to the railway station, this is good for the circulation and keeps the body warm on this still chilly morning of what promises to be a hot first of May. Arrive at the railway station in good time, buy a roll and a cup of coffee in the station kiosk.

The train to Munich is uneventful and quite pleasant. Take the bus to the University and arrive in good time for the rendezvous.

The mother and daughter arrive, the mother is an old girlfriend and lover and the daughter is young and pretty. They are both culturally very informed, and during the half an hour waiting for the ice cream parlour to open, have a long chat. There are a number of things to gossip about and it is all very pleasant.

All three walk down to the English Garden, Munichs big park. Find a free park bench and continue talking. Afterwards, watch a small child spray water on the road, and explain that he is washing it.

Have a cup of coffee in a café and then proceed on to the railway station. Say our goodbyes there and then take the train back to Landshut. One goes to Ludwigsburg, one goes to Berlin. That is it.

Return to Landshut and meet the son. He is running a stand with friends of his, all the rainbow colours that they support so keenly. Have a turkish meal at a neighbouring stand, then go home.

Finish off the day by using the big polishing machine to polish the floor that had been waxed at the beginning of the week.

Then take a rest in bed for an hour and a half.
