Most of the day spent caring for the shop again, moving furniture and carrying things around The floor in the side room seems finished now, and the door to the cupboard needs fitting. Think about it for a while and get a box of small screws from the attic. With the help of the small Ikea electrical screwdriver it does not take long. Fitting the panel that had broken out of the side of the cupboard did not take long either, and would have taken much less time had it been fitted the right way round at the first attempt. So take it out again and put it back in again the correct way round.
Use the scouring machine on a test piece of the large floor. It seems to work quite well, but time will show. It will be necessary for it to dry before the assessment is complete.
At around midday time was spent with the people from the photographic gallery around the corner. It was a mixture of talking shop and politics. It was all quite pleasant.
There is the sound of the wife practicing the clarinet upstairs. She seems to have improved greatly, that is all to the good.
Outside people walk down the street to go to the fair taking place down by the river. People are all looking for parking spots without any success. This is sad, but this is the way it is.
Warn a few people of the danger of being fined, but then just do not bother. There is a sign at the beginning of the street that quite clearly declares it a no parking zone, and if they do not believe it they will have to pay if they are unlucky.
