If they lie on the made up bed then they were placed there after the bed was made, after its having been slept in, and they were left there after their having been put there for use.
This is about the pills that are to be taken every morning.
Doctors orders are to be followed.
But if a thing is done every day, and nothing changes, then who will remember for sure whether this event was yesterday or today or whether it had been done or not. There is no documentation.
The pills and other medical whatnots are on a tray, vitamins and creams and those sachets of anti cold medicine among others.
Take the tray down and sort out the pills that are to be taken. Leave the tray on the bed, the bed is made up.
Now, in case of doubt, it is all perfectly clear. The tray with the pill boxes is on the bed, therefore they were taken. At bedtime put the tray on the wardrobe, it makes a poor sleeping companion.
A small untidiness, not clearing the pills away immediately after taking them, is one way of being sure of having taken the pills in the morning.
Not having gone out last night made sleeping easier.Ir is true though that waking up in the morning was less difficult now. It was pleasant to drink a cup of coffee out on the street in the early sunlight
