The cat, that cat, the family cat is hungry, it is seven in the morning, and as far as the small fat animal is concerned it now needs to make a fuss to force the nearest human to feed her.
Feed the cat a few spoonfuls, and the cat shuts up. Go back to bed, there is nothing special that needs to be done now.
The cat is of a different mind, at more or less eight in the morning she commences making noises again. She gets her food, and since there is no help for it make coffee and toast and poached eggs. Read the news, and understand only too well that the United States of America are busy warmongering again. Do all nations greater than a certain size do this? Or are all large nations led by the hopelessly power mad?
Never mind, eat the breakfast and look at the other news. It is not much better.
Hear the wife leave the house. The trapdoor to the cellar is loose and very noisy when walked upon.
Go to the cafe, and have a small piece of cake and a cup of coffee.
Then take a walk through town to the studio. Set up the laptop there and chat with the owner of the neighbouring pub. After about an hour take a walk through town. Go to the railway station and watch the trains for a while. It would, after all, be possible to just board one and go somewhere interesting. This will not work though, the train ticket is on the mobile phone.
Return to the studio, do a few more bits and pieces, and then go home.
The cat is in the passageway, making noises. Ignore her for the time being.
There is the noise of the wife returning, and the cat is no longer to be heard. She has found another human to feed her.
Cut open an avocado pear, and remove the seed. Eat the fruit. It is very good.
As it starts to get dark outside, walk to the artist's studio, and spend time writing these notes.
