night work tonight

Today, so nice and quiet, there was no reason to leave the house for the rain, so the house was not left. Heard the wife run down the stairs to the passageway and got up.

Made breakfast, and had some extra coffee. Adjusted the pictures taken last night, all of them worked out more or less well. They are just party pictures of slightly drunk younger people.

There are noises outside, one of the neighbours seems to be having trouble with his van. Watch him as he tries to connect a pipe with his compressor. It does not seem to connect easily or properly. Then he disapears behind his van. There is a loud hissing noise and the orange compressed air pipe flicks across the view, it has become disconnected.

Step outside, the man looks and asks whether or not there is a tyre gauge in the house. The tyre on his van is visibly flat. Tell him that there is one in the house somewhere. Take it out to him, and bring a cable drum as well. Hook up the mans small compressor to the mains current via that cable drum and hand over the small gauge with its attached piping . The compressor makes noise and the neighbour  inflates the tyre. Let the tank of the compressor fill up completely and tell him to take the gauge and the connectors with him on his journey home , just in case of need.

Spend the afternoon trying to make prints of the pictures from the night before. This does nor really work, there is something wrong with the combination of software, the  various profiles and the paper.

Keep on working until eight in the evening, that is now.

Then get ready to go to the studio.
