Unpleasant manner

The shirt laid out last night was a new shirt. still folded. Put it on after having taken the shower to wake up in the morning. It has no collar, and, far worse, no breast pocket. In this hot weather, the breast pocket is important, because of the need to store money and identity cards and things. Put the shirt onto a hanger and replace it in the wardrobe,
When finished, put the mobile phone into the pocket of the neat shirt. The cat receives a pat on the head; and then, down the stairs and leave the house just as the two bells from the saint Martins church sound.
At the bus stop, greet Dolores. She is sitting in the shelter. She has a worried expression today. Take the usual place standing behind the Bus shelter to look out over the river, then hear the sound of the Turkish man's voice from the bus shelter. He is loud, taking in a sort of nasal whine. He is instructing Dolores in something. He goes away when he sees the bus round the corner. It is hard to say exactly why, but the man is unpleasant. He always shouts, he always has an unpleasant manner.
The bus driver patiently changes a fifty Euro note. It was the only money available today, there was no other change, Thank him for the trouble.

Say good morning to the smoker at the station, en passant. A large cup of coffee at the Yorma cafe in the railway station. Take out this black notebook and start to write these notes during the ten minute wait for the train to come in.

The construction work in the railway station is moving forward apace. The platform number seven has been removed almost completely, there are big construction vehicles standing around there now, waiting for the arrival of the workers.

Take a seat in the meanwhile-arrived train. And watch the bright-lit landscape pass by the window, the carefully manicured, fields, neatly ploughed and planted by the tidy German farmers.
