bottles and dosing apparatus

It is first light time, early in the morning, just past four probably, the mouth is dry, the left arm is still unfeeling, 0nly minimal functions there. Bottles and dosing apparatus held together with delicate tubing, a heavy tube delivering hot air to the 38°C blanket covering the left arm. And the urine bottle under the bed is nearly full. It is an unpleasant situation. The nurse arrives, disconnects the antibiotics tube, replaces that under-bed overfed bottle,  and goes on her way. Short red hair and a cheery manner. The work must have pleasant sides as well.

And then later, the nurse with the long fair hair comes in, bottle and tubes in hand. she hooks up the antibiotics drip. The juice flows in, giving the bacteria less survival chances. The nurse leaves, and then returns with a breakfast tray. She puts butter onto the bread rolls, she knows that the patient cannot help himself,

Breakfast is eaten, the nurse comes back, she unpacks her patients unfeeling hand. She gently lowers it ohto a clean cloth, ready for the doctors inspection. Then she takes the tray with the breakfast remains away, and now it is time to wait for the doctor to do his round.

And then the doctor arrives, a quick look, all is well.
In his angle of view.
