Enjoy that.

it is Sunday the 22 March today, and outside is bright and sunny.
And it is silent.
There are no cars.
There are no people on the street.
The church bells are silent.
The clocks in the room are loud.
And there in, the distant sound of a car, it fades away again.

The virus is about, and is the harbinger of covid-19, the disease that will kill some and will kill more if there is no one there to  help.

And people remain in their homes, many are maybe slyly catching up on the sleep that has not been granted to them by society.

Make a breakfast for one, the wife and the son had been up late, doing things important to them. The habit of a working week has driven the husband and father out of bed early, and
Stop that, just a cup of coffee, a slice of toast and butter. Put out some food for the cat.

And now it is eight thirty,  And it is so quiet, no sound but for the complaints of the bored cat, call her name, Miriam, she does her elegant cat wakj across the room, then nuzzles the leg of the chair, then the brown leather bag left on the floor by the son.
Then she stands in the centre of the room, her front paws together, angled outwards, her head to one side.
Just like the Pink Panther.
Same family, supposedly the creator of the Pink Panther modelled a cat, why not.

It is really quiet.
Enjoy that.
