home

the strumming again, at six and it dark.
This is the second day of isolation on account of the pandemic, the virus that is like a ball  with small growths upon it.

Turn it off and return to bed. The news had come in yesterday that in the meanwhile the university had been completely closed but for a chosen few.

Very good for lazy old men.

Go back to bed, this cannot be true.
Awaken again with the blue light coming in through the bedroom window, and resolve to get up, to put the clothes on and look at the news, make sure that there are no further messages from work.

Read the news, the western world is closing it's doors. Even the British have realised that a stiff upper lip will not help here.  Oh dear.

Wash, and then sit down and read.
It is too early to do things that might be noisy.
The family is asleep.
The wife, and the son are both quiet.
