The clock on the castle front tells the
time, but not the date. It had been an early morning at home.
The short walk through the park was nice, the solitude on the steep paths refreshing. The vegetation is thriving, slowly. It is slow because there is a
lack of water, there has been no rainfall for the previous weeks and weeks.
The clock bell chimes, it is now a quarter to twelve, three bells,
dong
ding dong.
A woman and a young child walk across the park in the middle distance, then start to approach, The child is talking and talking, a constant
chatter.
A single jet ancoaft passes high overhead,
it is the only one. It is so high up that it has passed by before the sound of it 's engines are to be heard.
Just sit on a bench, enjoy the sun,
be alone, there is no cat here and no
family, no work.
Just the sun, too enjoy.
