Leave the park at the exit behind the town tunnel, and walk past the school buildings, now deserted. It would normally be easter holiday time now anyhow. There are alleys between the houses, for pedestrians and cyclists only, and proceed with the morning walk.
At the end of the alley, sit down on a stone pollard there, take out the mobile 'phone and ring up home. There is a grocery store around the corner, it would save time to buy a few things on the way back. The 'phone makes the connection, but there is no sound to be heard. Try again, but there is the same result. Try yet again, the connection is made, but there is no sound.
The 'phone rings, press the green button, and there is the irritated wife saying that there was nothing to be heard.
She says that there is not much to shop for, memorise the list, and hang up.
There are people with face masks in the shop, everyone is doing their best not to go to close to each other. Everyone has fear of an infection, everyone is unsure of how to protect themselves.
Take the things out of the shelves, and pay the cashier stuck behind her plexiglass cage.
Things have changed suddenly, and quickly
