The white stoneware sink is dirty, there are marks on the flat bottom. The soot from the bottom of pans maybe.
Take the plastic drum-shaped contairer from the ledge, there is a sponge inside, add a tiny bit of water and rub the kitchen sink with the sponge. Rinse it out, and the sink is clean again. It has been dirty for a week, and now it is clean.
Empty the worktop of assorted
things
that have been there for a long time now, some of them for weeks. Wipe down the worktop, water and a bit of detergent. Wipe down some of the items, throw others away.
That's better.
Do the same for the small table beside the dishwasher, the one with the coffee machine on top. That is much better now.
And now, as the work is under way, clean up the mess on the other worktop as well. That is the early morning done for, the dishwasher is now running and
what a lousy way to start the weekend.
