our neighbour , tiny dog on the leash in her hand, dog harnessed, no collar,walks up the street
the dog wearing a jacket decorated, an heraldic cross on its back,the minute animal, tail wags
revolting glnre from beady eyes, the neighbour woman loves her well dressed little dog.
Greet them both and the dog does glare like a confused alcoholic, struggles in its harness.
Later, at the corner, see the dog on the leash dragged backwards, the neighbour not in sight
The dog vanishes around the corner in reverse, all four feet struggling in futile resistance.
Life is hard in a harness on the end of a leash
