 The café is friendly today, the Italian waiters are at their best all good humoured with their "signore" and "bongiorno".The favourite seat is free today, and there is no need to check the covid papers. They checked them yesterday after all.  Listen to the radio on the earphones, this drowns out the sound of Italian popular rock. 

The smell of the food is good, someday maybe there will be time to have something to eat there.

But leave the café at the end of the coffee, and go on to the shop to get bread and apples, sour cream, pretzels and cheese. Really, all the things that got forgotter, or that are only good when they are really fresh.

There is no reason for it, but there is a sense of happiness today, quite without reason. Reasons are not necessary, it is just a novelty after a period of depression. After having taken the shopping home, go out and take the car to one of the parking spots opposite to the police station. These parking places are for locals only, and it is better to use these if you are going to park for a longer time.

And then take a walk , just a short stroll around the bluffs above the valley. Only five kilometres, for more would make no sense in the dark.
