 The sound of the rain outside is delicious. It is peaceful. It is a continuous rattle, no pounding rhythm, just a steady white noise. Relax, and allow the body to catch up with all the stress.

The day was strange, the mechanic failed to fix the car so that it would pass the safety inspections. There was a flaw in one of the wheels, and a discrepancy with the type of tyre fitted. That was too bad.

A long walk to the station, in vain- and a long walk back in the rain.

That is the kind of day that it was.
