parp and blare

 A cool morning followed by a hot day.

The cat was active in the night, it nearly fell out of the window in the dark.

That is a silly cat.

Made the bed, carried on cleaning in the kitchen and elsewhere. Some things are a bit difficult, now that the wife no longer speaks. She sulks all day when she is not working, she enjoys her gin and tonic.

The midday soup was taken in a different Thai place, the soups are not quite as good and they are a tiny bit cheaper. But the heat is really oppressive. The coffee in the cafe is very hot, Fall asleep in the seat waiting for it to cool. It is a strange day, and things have tunred strange. But hte heat is impossible, return home and just collapse in the bed, have a siesta. Even reading will not work.

And now the whole town is in uproar, Germany has defeated Hungary at soccer. That is good news for the Germans, it means that they have made good progress in the European Cup. There is the sound of cars in long lines all sounding their horns. The people leave the television set to jump into their car and to sound their horn.
