sense of style

 The day that starts with a long talk with the owner of the car repair place. As always, he is a chancer. He wants to charge all his costs and all his mistakes to his customer.

Give up on trying to convince him after about an hour, so what the infernal vehicle seems to be functioning. That was simply an expensive job.

At home again, start to fix the photographs taken in Ireland. There are many of them, it all takes time. 

At one o'clock take the car up to visit the artists and to give them their book They are generous, as always, and so stay for a meal and get to sign one of the books for a customer who happens to turn up.

Spend time chatting, and trying to select a sculpture for payment of the work done. It is not easy.

And in the evening, chat with the argentine friend, he is an older man with a great sense of style.
